LOVE IN A BOTTLE is Zoe Archer's second published novel and displays this author's talent for bringing refreshingly new storylines to the historical genre. Several scenes in this book got my heart pounding in excitement and there were times I could have cried for Sophie over the lack of acceptance she receives. This story is brilliantly written and full of fun characters and thrilling situations that will keep readers engrossed in the storyline. Beautifully done, Ms. Archer! I'll anxiously await to see what you come up with next.

Fresh Fiction

A woman pursuing work in a man's field finding someone to encourage and share her passion is a good pairing for romance. But add to that the fact that they are totally unsuitable for each other makes it perfect. The hero and heroine take center stage with their intimacy and an emotional connection from the beginning. There is humor as well as passion, and the author's talent at writing good dialogue and a smooth writing style add much to the enjoyment of the story. Secondary characters also add their own particular kind of uniqueness to the mix and make this a fun historical read.

Romance Readers at Heart

Once again, in LOVE IN A BOTTLE, Ms. Archer creates a heroine that's a bit out of the normal for her day. It's obvious Ms. Archer has done her research into the world of botany quite thoroughly, as is evidenced in Sophie's dialogue. Zoe Archer has blended a perfect mix in this romance that is both character-driven and filled with action. Archer's prose is one that draws you in immediately and never lets you go. Her heroines are always intelligent and believable, matched with romantic heroes who are sensitive, understanding and strong in their support of the women they love. If you haven't read LADY X'S COWBOY, then do yourself a favor and get it along with Archer's LOVE IN A BOTTLE. Fast climbing her way up my own personal favorite romance writers list, Zoe Archer is one author I think most readers will enjoy and that I highly recommend.

Zoe Archer's debut book, LADY X'S COWBOY, is a sort of fish-out-of-water romance that's chock full of historical tidbits, riveting drama, and two lead characters whose social and cultural backgrounds contrast and collide at every turn.Zoe Archer grabbed a hold of me and never let go.

Overall, LADY X'S COWBOY is a wonderful romance that's just a bit different and refreshingly original. Ms. Archer shows she has great style, a flair to create something different from out of the ordinary, and knows how to pull in and keep her readers tuned in. I highly recommend it.
